In today's edition of the podcast Maqz and Zach, having realized they've defeated the Mayans, take on Wayne Lapiere and the gun nuts.   After all doesn't the 2nd amendment say that we can each have our own tactical nuclear weapon?  We also deal with Cosmo the God, Fox News, and insurance fraud!  With that kind of opposition is it any wonder we need one?

We had an election. Morning Joe didn't believe the predictions, but we've done some math of our own and we figure if your people are standing in line for hours and hours just to vote, you probably really did do the math correctly. A little more politics, some music, and we find why Maqz hates shopping but you have to stick around.

8 Minutes On High Podcast - Episode 009 Who Ate The First Berry?

We're being a little bit tricky today. We recorded a two-parter and this is Episode 009 B. Zach was away and Maqz wanted to hear Zach's thoughts on the debates when he returned. That still leaves us time to discuss how today's music all sounds the same, as well as, strikedebt.org, China, Halloween, cars, dodos, berries, horses and other paleolithic creatures such as Mitt Romney. Oh and Maqz has a new car.

We also say good bye to George McGovern, a truly honorable presidential opponent.

This episode is long overdue, has been in the can for two weeks, and Zach has been patiently waiting for it's release.  The first half is edited, the second half, not so much.  All booboos should be blamed on Maqz.

Yes, we had to get a reference in there, but there is no talk of James Bond in this episode of 8 Minutes On High.  Rather Zach gets serious with a discussion of the dangers of football – to football.   Maqz goes off like a bloviating ignoramus and George Will is pleased.

But the real fun comes in when Maqz and Zach bring it home with a serious discussion of Pooh … oh yeah and Putin's Pussy Riot.

Nothing ever comes out exactly right and this episode is a classic example.  Maqz stumbles through the opening and its all downhill from there.  Fun was had during the discussion of weddings, chocolate and drama.  Not so much fun?  Republican missions to suppress the vote.

Mitt Romney marries Paul Ryan's budget and Ann Coulter loses her mind.  Mars is curious red.  And Maqz is too old for these heights.

Zach and Maqz loosen up a bit while continuing their prior conversation. Bouncing from National Security Letters, a serious topic, to Ce Lo Green whom Maqz takes way too seriously, through the top artists of all time (according to VH1) and on to the rediculuous Pyonyang Valkyries, who raise their flags in surrendeer and have to hope that lightening doesn't strike twice!

But the job creators are all taking steroids and the whole thing goes to hell!

Maqz isn't always right and Zach would never say that he was. This is the follow up podcast to Countless Screaming Argonauts and we hope we can do it justice.
